Federal Aviation Administration (FAA)
Correspondence Tracking System - Designed and developed AFZ 300 Correspondence Tracking System as a centralized, automated repository to collect, track, and warehouse agency correspondence.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA)

Intranet Assessment - Provided an assessment of intranet and web sites for Public Affairs and Citizen Corps offices through the collection and analysis of records generated via email. Records were subsequently logged into an Access Database, and document findings and recommendations were presented. Conducted a needs analysis and web-based site satisfaction survey, identifying and determining corrective measures for problems relating specifically to employee communications.

Records Management - Performed assessments to improve records management initiative and provided subject matter expertise on administration and management of record file plans, schedules, processes, tracking methodologies, and associated management tools.

Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) Administration - Developed and improved processes to manage information requests and ensure compliance with FOIA guidelines. Created procedures to manage document releases, ensure proper agency referrals, establish and maintain time limit control procedures, eliminate request backlog, and fulfill reporting requirements.

Privacy - Provided services and solutions to manage agency-wide privacy program and improve compliance, awareness, and incident response initiatives.

  • Compliance - Developed standard operating procedures, coordinated management initiative, and offered guidance and support in developing strategies and tools to assure agency privacy compliance.
     
  • Awareness Training - Created privacy training modules for employees, contractors, and management and conducted class and video teleconference training sessions. Authored privacy awareness articles for agency publication.

  • Incidence Response and Mitigation - Led incident response and mitigation efforts, including risk management, reporting, response determination, and records management.

  • Reporting - Provided authoring, editing, and compilation guidance for reporting vehicles.

 
Project Management - Performed Project Management services for Records Management Division, Privacy, FOIA, and Acquisition Operations Division offices, implementing project plans and schedules; developing policies, processes, and procedures; and managing daily operations for FEMA projects.

Business Analysis - Performed analysis of existing operating procedures. Gathered requirements, analyzed data, made recommendations, and designed solutions to improve efficiency, eliminate waste, and implement quality control and document management systems. 

Forms Management - Provided forms design services using Adobe LiveCycle and forms database management services. Redesigned existing inventory of over 300+ forms to ensure 508 compliance and to embed scripted automatic calculations. 

Directives Management - Provided services to guide program offices on the submittal and approval process for agency directives and manuals. Created and maintained procedures and status spreadsheets and made recommendations on improving communication techniques and streamlining the submittal and approval process. Provided detailed editorial reviews of directives, manuals, correspondence, presentations, reports, guidance, and other documents prepared for internal and external dissemination.

GSA
Contract Management - Provided expertise in developing contracts, acquisitions, purchasing, and procurement management initiatives to ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and Defense Federal Acquisition Regulations Supplement (DFARS) guidelines. Performed cost-price analyses and prepared contracting vehicles such as solicitations, statements of work, and sole-source justifications.

HHS - Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA)
Portfolio Management - Provided technical assistance and management support in implementing processes and procedures related to program objectives. Coordinated communication and reporting initiatives among various groups and provided recommendations on a range of acquisition and project management activities associated with agency programs.
