expertise. Our employees currently hold
the following certifications:
CIPP/G - Certified Intl.
Association of Privacy Professionals for Government
Certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate
knowledge of U.S. government privacy laws, regulations, and
policies specific to government practice as well as those more
broadly applicable to the public and private sectors in the
U.S. It also covers U.S. government-standard
practices for privacy program development and management,
privacy compliance and auditing, and records management and
agency reporting obligations for privacy. The
certification is obtained by successfully completing the
Certification Foundation examination, followed by the CIPP/G
module exam.
CISSP - Certified Information
Systems Security Professional
Certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate
knowledge in two of ten areas of interest based on the CIA
triad of confidentiality, integrity, and access.
The certification is obtained by demonstrating a minimum of
five years experience in IT security initiatives, passing a
written examination, and submitting personally endorsed
references by other certified professionals.
ECM - Enterprise Content
Management
Certification is awarded to those individuals who demonstrate
knowledge on new and emerging best practices and technologies
for managing information assets in the areas of data management
technologies and solutions, integration technologies and
migration, implementation planning and execution, and other
topics related to enterprise data management. This
certification is obtained by completing a series of online
courses and training classes, followed by an exam.
ITIL - IT
Infrastructure Library
Certification is awarded to those individuals who demonstrate
knowledge in developing, implementing, and managing IT systems
and network management departments through consistent,
documented, and repeatable processes. The
certification is obtained by completing structured coursework
and credit hour requirements, followed by a final
examination.
ITPC - International Tutor
Program Certification
Certification is awarded to those individuals who demonstrate a
certain degree of proficiency in mentoring, tutoring, and
providing educational assistance. This
certification is obtained by completing class and in-service
training, 25 hours of actual tutoring experience, personal
recommendations from instructors, and a vigorous evaluation
that includes portfolio reviews and on-site observation.
NARA - National Archives And Records
Administration
Certification is awarded to those individuals who obtain
knowledge on policies and procedures for Federal government
records management. The certification is obtained
by completing a suite of classes in five core areas and passing
an online test.
NBCT-ELA-EA - National Board
Cert. in English Language Arts-Early Adolescence
Certification is awarded to those individuals who demonstrate
exceptional knowledge in the areas of reading, writing,
listening, and speaking language arts curriculum for students
ages 11-15. This certification is obtained by
completing an extensive series of performance-based assessments
that includes teaching portfolios, student work samples,
videotapes, and thorough analyses of the
candidates' classroom teaching and
students' learning. Candidates
must also complete a series of written exercises that probe the
depth of their subject matter knowledge, as well as their
understanding of how to teach those subjects to students.
PHR - Professional Human
Resources
Certification is awarded to those individuals who demonstrate
knowledge on the essential functions of a professional human
resources management position. This certification
is obtained by demonstrating a minimum of two years of exempt
level experience in the field of HR Management followed by a
PHR certification exam.
PMP - Project Management
Professional
Certification is awarded to individuals who demonstrate
advanced knowledge of, and experience with, project management
concepts. The credential is obtained by documenting 5 years'
work experience in project management, completing 35 hours of
project management-related training, and passing a written,
multiple-choice examination. SCRUM
Master
Certification is awarded to those individuals who demonstrate
knowledge on the iterative, incremental framework for project
management and agile software development. The
certification is obtained by attending an intensive two-day
course given by Certified Scrum Trainers and passing a written
examination. |
